Dear Flying L Ranch Property Owners, The Flying L POA has realized that the meeting agenda for the April 1, 2025 meeting did not include enough information regarding the need for the special meeting. This lack of information created a misunderstanding of the POA’s objective. The POA also acknowledges that without a public forum available during the meeting, residents continued to not get necessary information. The Flying L POA apologizes for the failure to communicate effectively! These are the facts: Flying L Ranch is rapidly growing with the number of homes at roughly 250 currently. New home applications continue to come in and growth is inevitable. The POA currently is dependent on other Non-Resident/entities to provide records filing space, meeting venues, storage of mowing equipment and such. With the continuous growth it has come to the POA’s attention that it would be in the best interest of the residents that the POA become more self-sufficient and prepare for the future and unknown availability of these entities that we currently rely on. A recent opportunity to purchase a lot at a reasonable price became available. The cost of the lot and the location of the lot was carefully considered and would meet the needs of a potential future community room/storage for equipment and records for the POA. The April 1st special meeting was called to have the board make a motion and vote to purchase this lot for future development. The lot is located on Airport Road in close proximity to the Flying L PUD's Water Well #2 and water storage tanks. This is not near any residents and in a more conducive building location for commercial use. This plan of preparing for future growth is in the very early stages and currently the purchase of the lot is all that was on the meeting agenda.
