FLYING L RANCH PROPERTY OWNERS ASSN NOTICE OF ELECTION

The Flying L Ranch Property Owners Association (FLRPOA) is hereby announcing the upcoming election of FLRPOA Board Members on January 14, 2023. The Association is soliciting nominees for FOUR (4) Board positions. In accordance with the Association By-Laws (Article III, Section 3), To be eligible for a place on the ballot, the candidate must affirm they have title/deed to the property and not have committed a felony or crime involving moral turpitude 20 years following the date of such conviction. Any eligible member who desires to file for a place on the ballot must notify the Association no later than November 15, 2022 in order to be placed on the mail-out ballots. Candidates should also submit a short, one-page resume, 150 words or less, indicating why you want to run for the board, your educational and work background and the skills or expertise you would bring to the board. Your resume will be included with each mail-out ballot. Fill out the Candidate Nomination Application below and click the "Send" button to submit your application to the FLRPOA. If you do not have access to the internet or wish to submit a paper copy, your resume can be placed in the POA Drop Box at the mail box annex or mailed to: FLRPOA, 566A Flying L Drive, Bandera, TX 78003. To be eligible to vote in an election for Board members, the Member must have title/deed to property in the Subdivision.

Please take a moment to consider running for a position on the Flying L POA Board. We are all property owners, have an investment in the community, and are affected by the decisions made by the POA. Being on the Board affords the opportunity for involvement in the decision-making process and ensures that every voice is heard. We have a community we can be proud of. This is your opportunity help keep it that way now and for the future.

  • Always Something to See

    When you move to the Flying L, you will share this beautiful community with the abundant wildlife. Through out the ranch you will see herds of Axis, Blackbuck and Whitetail Deer. Along with a range of other critters like the occational Raccoon, Fox and a Texas favorite, the Amadillo.
  • Flying L PUD

    The comminity is serviced by two 800' deep wells that are managed by the state of Texas and offers residents through out the ranch an abundant water supply. On site is also a sewage treatment plant that currently services about half of the residents of the community.
  • 18 Hole Championship Golf Course

    If you do not mind playing with the deer, the Flying L offers a beautiful 18 hole Championship Golf Course. Homes line the golf couse where you can wave at your friends as you play by.
